We envision a culture where every Warrior serving in our Armed Forces receives support, finds value, has purpose, embraces potential, and uses their influence to make a difference.

Therefore,

WE ARE A FAMILY ON A MISSION TO SUPPORT, CONNECT, EQUIP, AND MOBILIZE THE VERY CORE OF EVERY WARRIOR.

Let's break that down a bit...

WHY DO WE SAY "THIS IS FAMILY?"

THAT'S OUR IDENTITY! Many of our military members have no family living around here (besides the spouse and kids if they are married.) We know that we can never replace extended family but our desire is to be like family for them; to provide the love, support, friendship, care, etc. Early on, one service member said "that sounds like family, and that's what I personally need." Families do life together and so do we. We want our Warriors to know that they are not alone here.

"BEING SO FAR AWAY FROM HOME, THE FRIENDS I HAVE MADE IN THE WARRIOR NETWORK ARE MY FAMILY."

-Justin Countryman

LET'S BREAK DOWN THE FOUR PILLARS OF OUR MISSION

  • SUPPORT

First and foremost, we take care of our military community. This is the cornerstone of The Warrior Network. Whatever and whenever the need, we want to help meet it, whether spiritual, physical, relational, or emotional. We understand that there are many needs that our military community faces, especially being separated from family, and many times that need comes attached to a crisis. We want to provide support for individuals, marriages, deployed families, grief, substance abuse, etc. You need help with something, have a loss, need support during a deployment, need to talk, need prayer support, a friend, a shoulder, someone to listen, family to hang with, we are here.

  • CONNECT

As we support, we also connect you with needed resources in our community. We want to be proactive in helping service members feel at home and ease the search for necessary things ranging from everything from a solid church home, school, counselor, or financial institution, to a good place to eat, a gym, a realtor, family friendly places to go, etc...all the while, making sure the resources at your fingertips are accessible in times of calm and crisis. The Warrior Network stands to be just one way that our military community and local community connect!

  • EQUIP

As we support and connect, we want give you the necessary tools to ultimately make a difference in others around you who may need the support you have received. We help build a solid foundation in the men and women of our military community. We equip you to be the difference makers you are. We believe that growth happens one on one and in small groups so we put a high priority on mentorship and leadership development. This is done through mentoring relationships, our intern program, counseling, etc. We firmly believe that many of life's issues can be helped with a friend, so we strive to never underestimate the growth that can happen with a friend enjoying a meal together.

  • MOBILIZE

You've been supported, you're connected, you're being equipped, now it's your turn to give that same support. We want to help you understand your God-given responsibility and ability to take your story, your past, and your experiences and LEAD those around you, above you, and in your care. YOU are the ones who will influence, care for, and lead your peers, your co-workers, our community, and the future of our military. When you realize that you have the potential to change lives, serve, lead, influence, and care for others, then you are now helping others to go through this exact same cycle of support, connection, and equipping, eventually creating the culture of service members using their influence to make a difference.

WHAT DO WE MEAN BY "THE CORE OF EVERY WARRIOR?"

We want our Warriors...our heroes...our active, guard, and reserves military community, and their families, to know that they are valued not only for their job, rank, and uniform. While those things are vitally important, we want to put our focus and effort into the man or woman that occupies that job, rank, and uniform. No matter the branch, occupation, or rank, we want to speak directly to the very core of who you are. The boots in this picture represent so much more than just the uniform, to us, the represent the person who occupies them. And that, every single Warrior, is the person we serve, connect, equip, and mobilize. You are worth it!

EVERY FAMILY HAS VALUES, here's ours...

TWN FAMILY VALUES

WE ARE COMMITTED TO THESE THREE THINGS.

Everything we do filters through who we are and what we value.

values /ˈvalyo͞osnoun

a person's or organization's principles or standards of behavior

RELATE

Authenticity, honesty, openness...all three things that govern how we relate with you. We want you to know you have found something real. You can expect us to be honest with each other on all fronts. Honesty is the only way we truly grow, heal, and overcome. Out of honesty and authenticity, comes our openness. Openness and transparency is key. The story of our lives helps others write their story...and that reality is why relationships are valued above all else.

SERVE

They say that a hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself. Our heroes have done that as they serve our country. We give ourselves to you, our heroes, through our service to you. Serving you looks like meeting the relational, spiritual, physical, and emotional needs you may have, then building and mobilizing you to do the same. Nothing will come between us serving you and helping you serve those around you. Whether big or small, service to you and with you is key.

LEAD

Wherever you find yourselves, someone has been there before. You are never alone. We value leadership because we believe it is our responsibility to lead others to find the exact same relational, spiritual, physical, and emotional service, support, and healing that we have found. Once we have it, we believe we are to give it. Leadership is influence, nothing more and nothing less. It is our God-given responsibility to influence others with the same influence we have received.

"AFTER ALL, THE WARRIOR NETWORK IS SUPPORTING SERVICE MEMBERS AND PREPARING THEM TO ENGAGE AND DEFEAT THE ENEMY ON ALL FRONTS."

-Caleb Vaden
